SAA: Alumni Connections

Discover the unique experiences you share with alumni + build relationships, which add value and allow you a glimpse of life beyond Drake University.

The Student Alumni Association strives to connect you with our accomplished Drake alumni. Whether you study biochemistry or education, we host events which plug you into our strong network of alumni across the country. Providing opportunities to learn from our alumni and build relationships is one of the outstanding advantages of being a part of SAA.

Last Lecture | Each spring, students share their stories of resilience and success. Check out SAA’s social media for Last Lecture videos.

Table for Ten | 10 students will connect with an alum to learn more about their personal and professional journey through a networking social hour. Alumni have hosted dinners at their home, connected with students via a zoom coffee chat, or treated students to dinner out on the town.

Central Iowa Regional Advisory Board (CIRAB) | A member of the SAA Board participates in CIRAB meetings and events to promote alumni and student collaboration.

A Day in the Life | Alumni give students a behind-the-scenes preview of what a day in the life of their profession entails. More to come in November 2021.
