Walk with Drake at the 2026 Capital City Pride Parade
The Capital City Pride Parade is a celebration of community and culture that honors LGBTQ+ social and self-acceptance, legal rights, achievements, and pride. Come join Drake University and walk in the Pride Parade to support the LGBTQIA+ community in Des Moines. We encourage all attendees to wear your Drake Blue!

Washington, D.C. LGBTQ+ Alumni Social + Drag Bingo
Join Washington, D.C.-based LGBTQ+ alumni and allies at a Drake University social and drag bingo. On Tuesday, June 16, 2026, starting at 6:00 pm the LGBTQ+ Alumni Association will host a social at proudly LGBTQ+ owned brewery in the heart of the NoMa neighborhood in DC. LGBTQ+ Alumni Association Board Co-Chair Christina Motilall, AS'09 will be in attendance to greet all who attend, and will graciously sponsor a small selection of appetizers.
