Areas of Support
Gifts to The Drake Fund may be made to support the following areas:
Where Needed Most
Where Needed Most supports the highest priorities of the entire University each year. This can include much-needed financial aid for our students, technology upgrades for our campus, and investment in opportunities to better deliver on our mission immediately as they arise. Money from tuition only covers 67% of Drake’s yearly operating budget. Annual support is critical in filling this gap.
Colleges/Schools
Your support can help Drake's colleges and schools continue to build their reputation for producing the best and the brightest. Visit the academics website.
Bulldog Club
Bulldog Club contributions are used to support the athletic operating budget at Drake. Recruiting, team travel, and equipment purchases are just part of the department's operating budget. Bulldog Club support enhances opportunities for every Drake student-athlete. Visit www.GoDrakeBulldogs.com to learn more.
Cowles Library
Cowles Library, the main library for the University, is an increasingly integral part of the learning experience for Drake students. Its collections, both in print and electronic form, support and supplement classroom instruction and research. Visit the Cowles Library website.
Donald V. Adams Leadership Institute
The Donald V. Adams Leadership Institute accentuates Dr. Adams' values and helps students develop strong leadership skills. The institute's defining characteristics will distinguish Drake and, as Don Adams has done, will richly enhance the Drake experience. Visit the Donald V. Adams Leadership Institute website.
Friends of Drake Arts
Friends of Drake Arts was created to support and foster interest in the arts at Drake. Since its inception, Friends of Drake Arts has supported many faculty development projects and student productions and has underwritten residencies of top scholars and visiting artists.
