Pride Alumni Fund
The LGBTQ+ Alumni Association was established in 2016 to give the Drake LGBTQ+ community and their allies a safe space amongst our Alumni Relations events and to let our LGBTQ+ community know they belong within the Drake community. The Association connects and engages LGBTQ+ alums and their allies through social and educational events. It supports current and prospective students, faculty, and staff at Drake by advocating for and practicing inclusivity and empowerment.
In 2024, the Board of the LGBTQ+ Alumni Association wanted to enhance our commitment to inclusivity and empowerment and put our money where our morals are by establishing the Pride Alumni Fund. The Pride Alumni Fund is designed to support student's personal and professional development and contribute to a culture of LGBTQ+ education. Supporting the fund is an opportunity to ensure our students have an exceptional learning environment that prepares them for meaningful personal lives, professional accomplishments, and responsible global citizenship. Our LGBTQ+ students exist and need our continued support to thrive on campus. Please consider supporting the Pride Alumni Fund below.
