Everclass - Conversation with Sandy Bretzlauf Young, JO'02, VP, Partnership Marketing for the Denver Broncos
Join fellow alumni and friends to hear from Sandy Bretzlauf Young, JO'02, regarding her career path from Drake to an executive role with the Denver Broncos in the NFL.
Sandy joined the Broncos in June 2002, and is responsible for the implementation, execution, and retention of over 100 Broncos corporate partnerships. Prior to her current role, she served as Director of Marketing overseeing the team’s fan and brand assets and led the team’s United in Orange campaign during back-to-back playoff runs.
Young has spearheaded and collaborated on several projects alongside Broncos colleagues including creating the Broncos first mobile app, stadium naming rights implementation, partner and fan events such as “John in the Hall,” Broncos in London, Super Bowls 48 and 50, and the on-going intersection of Broncos partners with social media, data driven initiatives and performance measurement. She sits on the Broncos DEI committee and helps review and implement assessment goals from DEI initiatives across the organization. Alongside five NFL counterparts (Bears, Chiefs, Browns, Patriots, Seahawks), Young collaborates on partnership marketing from the league level including planning the annual Club-Led NFL activation summit.
Young participated in the 2014 Impact Denver program through the Denver Metro Chamber Leadership Foundation and the 2019 Women of Impact and Influence program through the Colorado Women’s Chamber of Commerce.
Young graduated cum laude with a degree from Drake in Journalism and Mass Communication with an emphasis in Advertising and Marketing. Young is a Colorado native and married to Scott, with a son (Jeffrey) and daughter (Allie).
