Sarasota - Board of Trustees & Alumni Reception

You and a guest are cordially invited to join the Drake University Board of Trustees and President Marty Martin for a reception on Friday, January 16, 2026, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at The Westin Sarasota. This special event offers a wonderful opportunity to connect with fellow alumni, trustees, and friends of the University in a relaxed and setting. 

A hosted bar and a variety of heavy hors d’oeuvres will be available throughout the evening.

We know Florida is a big place and not everyone will be able to attend, however, we want you to know that Drake is proudly in the Sunshine State—and you are an important part of our community.
