Chicago DU Good — Sip and Serve

October is DU Good Month and the Drake Chicago Regional Alumni Board will has partnered with Loaves & Fishes Community Services to host a virtual food drive throughout the entire month. Additionally, they have partnered with The Anti-Cruelty Society, to host an in-person toy donation drive at the end of the month. Details on how to participate are listed below.

Ways to Give Back - Chicago DU Good

  1. Loaves & Fishes Virtual Donation Drive
We will be hosting a virtual food drive throughout the month of October. Loaves & Fishes is a registered 501(c)(3) organization whose mission is to provide healthy food and impactful programs to promote self-sufficiency. $1 donated will supply $8 worth of food for their clients! They are currently serving over 5,500 people each week, so the need is incredibly significant. You can donate through the virtual food drive by purchasing specific products for their inventory or through selected monetary amounts here. Once you move past the "Gift Information" selection, please continue to complete the donation process. On the second page, you will be able to enter "Drake University" under the "Company Name" field.

  2. Animal Toy Donation Drive
Alumni and friends are invited to bring DIY toy donations to benefit The Anti-Cruelty Society, a 501(c)(3) organization providing comprehensive animal welfare and humane education, to our in-person toy donation drive and Sip and Serve event on Wednesday, October 26.
