Declan Coady Memorial Fund

Sgt. Declan Coady, a well-loved and highly dedicated Drake University student studying information systems, cybersecurity, and computer science, was among six U.S. service members who lost their lives in service to our country on March 1, 2026 in Kuwait. Sgt. Coady bravely served in the U.S. Army Reserves since 2023 as an Information Technologies Specialist. His commitment to community and service beyond self was reflected in his involvement as a Troop Leader and Assistant Senior Patrol Leader for the Boy Scouts of America, and in his completion of the Adams Leadership Institute Summer Series on Drake's campus. 

Memorial gifts will create a scholarship at Drake University in his memory.
