Participants agree to:
-Pay participation fee
-Form teams to paint square (not to exceed five individuals)
-Create a design incorporating the Drake Relays’ theme of "America's Athletic Classic"
-Submit square design to Drake University’s Office of Alumni Relations for review by April 13
-Send a representative to an informational meeting at Court Ave. Brewing Co. on April 19 anytime between 5:00 and 6:30 p.m.
Drake University agrees to:
-Create and assign squares with white background
-Provide T-shirts to all registered participants
-Supply painting tools: brushes, rollers, etc. (Participants are encouraged to bring their own supplies as well.)
-Recognize participants on Drake University’s alumni website
-Provide assistance at the event to help your organization
Painting your square:
-Squares will measure approximately 4 feet wide and 4 feet high
-Paint must meet specific criteria as outlined here
by our sponsor, Sherwin Williams

-Judges will decide winning squares
-Winning squares will be featured on Drake University’s alumni website, www.alumni.drake.edu
Day of event:
-Teams should arrive at check-in on Court Avenue (outside of CABCo) at noon.
-Teams will have until 4 p.m. to complete their design
-Judging will begin at 4 p.m.
