What should I include in my Memory Book page?
When you access your Memory Book page, you’ll see a number of questions and information that you can choose to add. These include several options for contact information, as well as a series of questions that give you the opportunity to speak to your experience at Drake University, how it has shaped your life, and any current updates you’d like to share.

When can I submit my Memory Book page?
Starting now! All alumni with email addresses in our database from the classes of 1970, 1971, and 1972 received an email with a link to submit a page. If you did not receive an email, please click here to request access.

Who can view my Memory Book page?
Members of the classes of 1970, 1971, and 1972 who have submitted their own profile may view your page. The general public and other Drake University alumni cannot view your Memory Book page.

When can I read the Memory Book pages?
Alumni who submit will immediately be able to view their own page, as well as the pages of other classmates.

How do I edit my page after I submit it?
Visit the Digital Memory Book page link and click on the 'My Page' link in the upper right of the page in order to edit your entry.

How many photographs can I upload to my page?
You can upload one profile photo and up to ten additional photos (jpg, tiff and png files).
NOTE: The first and last name you entered for your page will appear immediately underneath your profile photo. If you enter a caption for the profile photo, it will only show when clicking on the overlaying graphic (the letter 'i') in the upper right of the profile photo. Captions entered for the additional photos will display immediately underneath those photos.

Can I tag friends in photos or memories?
If a classmate has added a page to digital memory book, then you will be able to tag them in photos and/or memories. Alumni will receive an email update if they have been tagged in a photo or memory.

I'm attempting to tag my friends but their names don't show up. What's wrong?
It's possible we do not have a current email address on record for your friends, which results in their names being 'untaggable.' Encourage your friends to send us an email at cathy.williams@drake.edu and ask to be given access to the Digital Memory Book.

Can I search the Memory Book pages by keywords?
Yes. You can search by name, class year, dorm or residence, hobbies or interests, or any keyword in general.

If we are married, can we submit a single Memory Book page?
Yes. When you are asked for your first name and last name, there is also an entry to add your spouse/partner name.

How do I find the map that shows the cities where my classmates are living?
Navigate to the Digital Memory Book link and scroll to the bottom of the page where you'll find the map.

When is the Memory Book deadline?
The book will stop accepting new pages or editing of existing pages in June of 2022. However, if you plan to attend the reunion weekend, please fill out your page prior to arriving.

Can I submit my page via postal mail or email?
Alumni who have trouble submitting their pages online may contact us at cathy.williams@drake.edu.

BrightCrowd is a third-party vendor that provides the online platform for your digital memory book.
