Raise the Purse

Brought to Drake in 2016 by our beloved friend, Suzie Glazer Burt, RAISE THE PURSE has grown into a unique celebration of women, connection, and of course purses!  In addition to the traditional in-person event (which is virtual in spring of 2021), participants and supporters of RAISE THE PURSE may also make a direct contribution to the event and offset a critical need for one or more student athletes.

This year, we are offering the option to cover a particular expense related to the education, health and wellbeing of our student-athletes.

$150 - average expense of books for one student-athlete
$300 - average expense of books for two student-athletes
$500 - average expense of equipment/gear for one student-athlete
$1,000 - average expense of general athletic training for one student-athlete
$2,500 - average expense related to travel for one student-athlete
