Pharmacy Alumni Continuing Education Session

Join us from 1 to 3 p.m. on Friday, April 24 in Harvey Ingham 134, just prior to our “Drinks with the Dean” event during Relays Week, for a FREE continuing education session! Designed for pharmacists, this session will explore how emerging therapies are transforming the management of cardiometabolic disease, from type 2 diabetes and obesity to metabolic dysfunction–associated steatohepatitis (MASH).

Participants will learn how incretin-based therapies and novel MASH agents target underlying disease mechanisms, improve key clinical outcomes, and shift treatment paradigms. Practical clinical pearls will be shared to help identify appropriate patients, compare efficacy and safety across therapies, and confidently counsel on expectations, side effects, and lifestyle considerations.
